Otherwise, the Bontrager Flare R for the back and whatever bar mounted light you want is a good choice for the front. All in all, I'm pretty disappointed in them.Ī better alternative for a light is the new Light and Motion Vibe lights if you want a smart light. I have emailed back and forth with the company several times, and I'm not sure they understand it either. The sensing system that controls brightness and flashing is puzzling - it's not clear to me what they do and when. The USB plug is covered up by the mount which must be removed to charge the light and then becomes another thing to lose. The fancy on/off pairing is a hit or miss thing. They tend to slide around a bit because of the material used in the mounts. You cannot adjust the tilt, the angle is fixed. They are overpriced and not nearly as bright in appearance as they would have you believe. Tim-I have them and wouldn't recommend them. Thoughts from anyone who has put hands on this product would be appreciate. These don't interest me as much as basic usablity and construction of the product. I probably won't use the connected features apart from setting up the light once and the adaptive features, while interesting, seem a little gimmicky. Well made? Can light be tilted up and down when it is mounted or is the angle fixed?
